Here is an American Standard alcove tub from 1959. It is in'Regency Blue' with a left-hand drain. It is in good overall condition with minimal rust but almost every surface is lightly scuffed/scratched. The floor's enamel is worn with the remaining outlines of tread stick-on shells ... more from the previous owner. There are a few spots on the interior where the enamel is scratched, and there are a few small chips here and there throughout. Please check out the photos for condition. The drain hole has a little bit of rust showing but not much. A rust sealer should keep it from spreading prior to installation. The overflow hole shows a bit of cracking in the enamel, though that should be covered by the overflow assembly. There is a large chip on one of the edges. Though this should be covered by tile once installed(see pics) This isn't cosmetically perfect, but it's a well-used survivor. If you can live with some cosmetic imperfections and wear, then this is a great tub! It was FULL of antique toilets of all kinds. Over a thousand lids, old hardware, handles, all kinds of things. I'm going to be listing it slowly for probably a year or more. So check back if you're into antique plumbing stuff! Here we have an antique Kohler PLACID one-piece toilet. This one was on their show floor. And they must have done a VERY good job cleaning it, because even the inside of the tank is sparkling. The tank hardware was either removed during cleaning, or maybe scavenged from another toilet, because it shows use. My warehouse does not even have a floor drain, so I don't really have the ability to test these old toilets, so it's sold as-is, and maybe need some work ... more for all I know. Lid is dated 1950. The parts for this toilet are apparently expensive from what I saw on google, so please be sure you know what you're getting here. This type of faucet set would be found on Kohler sinks from the 1950's and 60's, typically cast iron sinks. All of the faucet trim pieces are in good shape. With a few nicks/scratches/pitting here and there but nothing terrible(see pics) The spout is also in good shape with a few small nicks, and the pop-up rod moves freely and operates properly. The pop-up assembly's plating is also in very nice shape with great original shine. The drain trim piece and stopper are also in nice shape. Check photos for condition. This is the twist-and-lift stopper design that was used. Both of the valves/stems move freely. Though I would expect to rebuild/replace all of the washers and packing ... more before use. Here is an American Standard tub overflow/drain assembly that dates from the 1950's. This is the design where the stopper is a'pop-up' type that works more like a sink. All components are brass except for the overflow cover and control lever. Which are zinc/pot metal. It operates as it should. The plating on the stopper and drain flange are scuffed/nicked/dinged and worn from years of use. The overflow and lever are very corroded and pitted. As is common for these metals as they age. Check all photos for condition. The set will be broken down into components for shipment. I would recommend replacing all of the rubber gaskets and joint packing prior to installation. There are some very faint hard water deposits in the bowl. But since it's white they are really just felt more than seen. The original flush handle is in decent shape. With a light amount of pitting on the chrome(see pics) Any flaws on the tank and lid are minimal, there ... more are a few dimples/pocks from the original casting/glazing but no damage. Here is an American Standard faucet set that was removed from a 1950's-era bathroom. This is for a tub& shower application. There is knob on the spout that acts as a diverter to turn on the shower. There is also a matching shower pipe escutcheon that's included. The chrome on the handles& caps is in nice shape with very minimal pitting. The stems also have minimal wear to their chrome. The escutcheons are lightly pitted and corroded with some scratches, but fortunately replacements can be found online. The spout has lightly worn plating along with some scuffs and scratches, but overall it's in very good shape. The shower pipe escutcheon is fairly pitted, and the set screw has been replaced with a new stainless steel set screw. Both valves open and close as they should. This sink was in an early 1950's home that was in the process of demolition. I managed to save a 1951 Crane Drexel sink and accessories from one bathroom and this beautiful Standard sink in the other bathroom. There is some pitting on the chrome handles and the legs. The porcelain is in excellent condition with only a 1/4" nick on the right side of the bowl(surface nick) and a 1/8" nick on the inside of the bowl. Both are nominal blemishes with no impact to the overall condition of the sink. It measures 22" wide and 18" from the front lip to the wall. Integrated spout. Faucet handles turn ... more nicely. It is an American-Standard'Lakeview' model that dates from 1953. It was installed in a custom wooden cabinet that was too far gone to save. These were typically found with cast iron pedestals that attached to mounting tabs on the underside of the tub. This is for the tub only, there is no stand included. The porcelain is in fair shape with some dull spots and wear/scuffs as well as a few spots of discoloration ... more from mineral deposits. There are tabs that have been removed on the underside of the rim(so that it could fit into it's previous cabinet) But these were only used to attach multiple tubs together so it shouldn't affect anything. For less than a new plastic tub you can get a sturdy cast iron tub that has many years of use left in it!
